Community Safety Partnership logo

The Community Safety Partnership is an initiative created by UNC Police and the Chapel Hill Police Department to educate the community on how to be proactive in the community when it comes to safety. It takes the citizens of Chapel Hill, the business community, emergency responders, public employees, UNC student, faculty and staff, to make sure that police are able to provide the best services possible. Additional eyes and ears are needed to help deter criminal activity and identify potential hazards and emergencies. This training includes information on what a suspicious condition is, when to call 911 and how those calls are received and dispatched.

If you are interested in this program or any others provided by UNC Community Services, please contact Sgt. James David at dhjames@psafety.unc.edu or at 919-883-7486.
